Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is gearing up for the first round of the NFL draft, confident that he has more to offer than his physical attributes and past performances suggest. McMillan believes his ability to maneuver with the ball is overshadowed by his size. “I feel like people sleep on my ability with the ball in my hands,” he stated. Known for his 50-50 balls and catch radius, McMillan adds, “I’m able to run every route in the route tree.”

Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 219 pounds, McMillan naturally commands attention on the field. His college career at Arizona has been marked by impressive stats, including an average of 18.0 yards per catch as a freshman and a sophomore year with 1,402 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. Despite a slight dip in numbers last year, he maintained high performance, demonstrating a career average of 16.1 yards per reception. He attributes part of his success to his volleyball and basketball background, which enhances his explosive playstyle.

McMillan also admires former Arizona wideout Larry Fitzgerald, hoping to emulate his career. “We’re always chasing greatness,” McMillan said, expressing his ambition to excel in the NFL. “The motto I live by is great, not good,” echoing his desire to rank among the all-time greats in football history.
