Panthers quarterback Bryce Young left Sunday’s game against the New York Jets in the third quarter due to an ankle injury. He was escorted off the field by trainers after being sacked on the final play of a Panthers offensive series. Initially, his return was listed as questionable, but he was later ruled out for the remainder of the game in the fourth quarter.

Andy Dalton replaced Young at quarterback for Carolina’s next drive. At the time of Young’s departure, he had completed 15 of 25 passes for 138 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed twice for 10 yards. The Panthers were leading the Jets 13-3 when Young exited.
