This marks Kahlina’s ninth time earning the weekly honor since joining Charlotte FC in 2022.
Kahlina, who is from Croatia and is currently 33 years old, played a key role in helping Charlotte secure all three points on Saturday at Citi Field. The club has now earned four out of nine possible points on the road and sits third in the Eastern Conference standings.
The recent match continued Kahlina’s strong form away from home, as he recorded at least seven saves for a third consecutive road game. He has allowed just five goals on 31 shots during this stretch. After eight matches this season, Kahlina leads Major League Soccer with 44 saves and holds a career-best save percentage of 81.5 percent. His previous best single-season save percentage was set at 76.6 percent during the 2024 season. Among goalkeepers with at least twenty saves made, he is tied for sixth in goals allowed with ten.
