Charlotte FC has loaned defender Jahlane Forbes to North Carolina FC for the rest of the 2025 season. The club made the announcement on August 22, 2025.
General Manager Zoran Krneta commented on the move, stating, “We look forward to monitoring Jahlane’s development while on loan in the USL Championship with NCFC, and getting competitive minutes is always beneficial for a player’s growth.”
Forbes, who is 23 years old and from Brooklyn, New York, debuted for Charlotte FC’s senior team on August 7, 2025. He played 12 minutes in the third match of the Leagues Cup Group Stage, helping secure a 2-0 win.
In addition to his first-team appearance, Forbes has started six matches for Crown Legacy in 2025 and recorded one assist. Since joining Crown Legacy in 2024, he has made a total of 24 appearances, scored four goals, and provided three assists over 1,818 minutes played.
The transaction sees Forbes joining North Carolina FC on loan through the end of the current season.
