Charlotte FC will play the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, aiming to extend their eight-match unbeaten run, which includes seven straight wins. This streak is currently the longest active run in Major League Soccer (MLS). The club has not yet managed a win at Gillette Stadium, with three previous visits resulting in one-goal losses.

The current winning streak for Charlotte FC ties them for the second-longest in MLS history since 2000. A victory would move them into sole possession of that spot and further solidify their place among the top-performing teams in league history.

Charlotte’s recent performances have been marked by discipline and consistency rather than high-scoring or flashy displays. The team has focused on staying organized and minimizing mistakes, which has contributed to their reputation as a difficult opponent.

“Charlotte’s success is proof that grit and discipline win games, and right now, they’re proving it every single matchday. For CLTFC, it’s clear that results speak louder than style,” according to the club statement.

The team has also won two consecutive league matches on the road. However, players and staff emphasize maintaining focus on each upcoming game rather than looking ahead to potential postseason opportunities.

“The message is clear: don’t get ahead of yourselves, keep the ball, and support each other on the pitch. It doesn’t have to be pretty; it just has to be effective,” said a club spokesperson.

With playoff positioning becoming more important as the season progresses, Charlotte FC stresses the need to remain grounded and continue supporting one another during matches.
