Forward Rodolfo Aloko has signed with Crown Legacy FC from Croatian club NK Kustošija Zagreb, according to an announcement made on September 4, 2025. The Beninese player agreed to a contract running through 2029, with an option for the 2030 season.
Aloko will remain on loan at Kustošija until December 2025 before joining Charlotte for preseason in January. The transfer was finalized before the closure of the MLS Secondary Transfer Window on August 21.
“Rodolfo is a promising, versatile forward with great physical attributes and an extremely strong work ethic,” said General Manager Zoran Krneta. “Rodolfo’s rapid pace and ability to make a difference in matches made him incredibly sought after by top clubs in Europe and we are thrilled to secure his signature. His loan will give him more match experience through the rest of the year and will help Rodolfo get to the top of his game in time for preseason in January. Rodolfo is another example of Charlotte becoming a prime destination for young players to develop and we look forward to integrating him in our development pathway soon.”
During the 2024/25 season, Aloko played in 15 matches across Kustošija’s squads, scoring four goals and providing seven assists after joining during the January transfer window. He debuted professionally in Croatia’s second division on February 21 against NK Trnje.
Internationally, Aloko made his senior debut for Benin this past June as a substitute in a friendly against Morocco. He also played regularly with Benin’s youth teams, including four appearances at age sixteen during the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations where he scored once against Zambia.
The transaction brings Aloko into Crown Legacy FC’s system while allowing him further development time abroad before arriving ahead of next year’s preseason.
