Chuba Hubbard, a running back for the Carolina Panthers, will step onto the NFL draft stage to announce the team’s selections for the second and third rounds. This event is part of the 2025 NFL draft, scheduled to begin next week in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Previously, Muhsin Muhammad II had the honor of announcing the Panthers’ third-round choice at last year’s draft in Detroit.

Hubbard joins five other active players who will present their respective clubs’ picks during the Friday segment of the draft. A total of 40 legends and active players have been designated to reveal team selections for the second and third rounds.

The Panthers will make one selection in each of these rounds, holding the 57th and 74th overall picks. In total, Carolina has nine selections, including eight within the first five rounds. Their draft order is:

– Rd. 1, No. 8 overall
– Rd. 2, No. 57 overall (from Rams)
– Rd. 3, No. 74 overall
– Rd. 4, No. 111 overall
– Rd. 4, No. 114 overall (from Cowboys)
– Rd. 5, No. 140 overall (from Giants)
– Rd. 5, No. 146 overall
– Rd. 5, No. 163 overall (from Ravens)
– Rd. 7, No. 230 overall (from Cardinals)

Hubbard, an Oklahoma State alumnus, was drafted by the Panthers in the fourth round of the 2021 draft. Throughout his four-year career, he has accumulated 3,175 rushing yards, 22 rushing touchdowns, 749 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. In 2024, Hubbard became a pivotal player for the Panthers, achieving his first season with over 1,000 rushing yards. As a result, the Panthers extended his contract through 2028.

The NFL Draft will commence on Thursday, April 24, and will be broadcast on ESPN and NFL Network. The second and third rounds are set for Friday, with the remaining rounds scheduled for Saturday.
