FOIA Request to Mecklenburg County Office Of The Tax Collector Regarding Property Tax Records 2024 – Present on May 12, 2025.
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in local government affairs, North Charlotte Today has submitted a formal request under the North Carolina Public Records Law, G.S. ยง132-1. We are seeking access to property tax records for properties within Mecklenburg County for the year 2024 and any available data for 2025. Specifically, we have requested information including Parcel ID, Year, Tax Value, and Assessed Value.
This request is integral to our mission of providing comprehensive news coverage and ensuring public institutions remain accountable.
