Hunter Renfrow, the veteran wide receiver, has been impressing during training camp in Charlotte. Despite being out of the game last year and struggling with health issues the previous year, Renfrow’s performance on Saturday was noteworthy.
During one-on-one drills with defensive backs, Renfrow demonstrated his route-running skills by successfully maneuvering past safety Tre’von Moehrig. Panthers head coach Dave Canales commented on Renfrow’s return to form, recalling his 103-catch, nine-touchdown season in 2021 before health problems emerged.
Renfrow was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, which significantly impacted his health and performance. “I mean, it’s just the Hunter Renfrow I remember,” Canales said. “So he looks healthy… And he’s really playing at top form right now.”
Renfrow’s family was present at practice on Saturday, allowing him to reconnect after a successful day on the field.
