Wide receivers Jalen Coker and Brycen Tremayne signed their exclusive rights free agent tenders with the Carolina Panthers on Apr. 20, as the team began its offseason program in Charlotte.
The move ensures both players will remain with the Panthers, as exclusive rights free agents can only negotiate with their current team. This step comes after both athletes contributed during the previous season, with Coker standing out in particular.
Coker finished second on the team in receiving yards last year, totaling 394 yards and three touchdowns. He became a reliable option late in the season alongside offensive rookie of the year Tetairoa McMillan. In the final five games of the regular season, Coker recorded 19 catches for 244 yards and three touchdowns. He also had nine receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown during the wild card game against the Rams after returning from a quad injury that kept him sidelined for six games.
Tremayne made his mark primarily on special teams, ranking second on the squad with 15 special teams tackles while also contributing offensively with 14 catches for 160 yards.
