The Carolina Panthers are dealing with several injuries to their offensive line as they prepare for Week 9. Three starting linemen missed Wednesday’s practice, while a fourth was limited.
Head coach Dave Canales described right guard Brady Christensen’s Achilles injury as “significant” and said it is expected to keep him out for the remainder of the season. Center Cade Mays (ankle/knee) and right tackle Taylor Moton (knee) were also absent from practice. Damien Lewis (oblique) participated fully.
Chandler Zavala returned to practice after being on injured reserve with a knee injury. He began his 21-day window to return and was a full participant in Wednesday’s session.
Quarterback Bryce Young, who missed last week’s game due to an ankle injury, practiced fully. Backup Andy Dalton, who started against the Buffalo Bills, did not participate because of a right thumb issue.
On defense, outside linebacker Princely Umanmielen (ankle), linebacker Trevin Wallace (shoulder), and Nick Scott (groin) were all listed as out.
The Panthers have made available their full injury report, depth chart, roster, and regular season schedule on their official website: full injury report, Depth Chart, Roster, and 2025 Regular Season Schedule.
“Right guard Brady Christensen (Achilles) has what Dave Canales called a ‘significant’ injury that’s expected to knock him out for the season.”
