The Carolina Panthers have released their second unofficial depth chart of the 2025 regular season ahead of their Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals. The team announced that there are no changes from the lineup issued before Week 1.

Tershawn Wharton, who suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday’s game in Jacksonville, remains listed as the starting defensive end. Bobby Brown III continues to be his backup after playing half of the defensive snaps against the Jaguars. Head coach Dave Canales said on Monday that Wharton would undergo an MRI to assess his injury, with early indications suggesting he could miss two to four weeks. Canales is scheduled to provide further updates at a media session on Wednesday.

The wide receiver group will remain unchanged for this week’s matchup, with Tetairoa McMillan making his second consecutive start after recording five catches for 68 yards in the previous game. Ja’Tavion Sanders retains his position as starting tight end.

On defense, Derrick Brown, A’Shawn Robinson, Patrick Jones II, and D.J. Wonnum continue as starters alongside Wharton. Rookies Princely Umanmielen and Nic Scourton are expected to see time at edge rusher positions. Jaden Crumedy will again serve as backup behind Brown after being added to the active roster last week.

Special teams assignments also remain consistent: Trevor Etienne will handle punt and kickoff returns while Ryan Fitzgerald gets another start at kicker following a successful 48-yard field goal against Jacksonville.
