The Carolina Panthers released their first injury report of the 2025 season, listing four players. Left tackle Ikem Ekwonu did not participate in practice due to illness as he recovers from a recent appendectomy. Head coach Dave Canales described his status as “day-to-day.”

Left guard Damien Lewis was limited with a shoulder issue, while right guard Robert Hunt was also limited because of a foot injury. Cornerback Damarri Mathis participated on a limited basis due to a knee problem.

Canales said, “He’s recovering from a recent appendectomy, and head coach Dave Canales has referred to him as ‘day-to-day.'”
