The Carolina Panthers have added quarterback Mike White to their practice squad, restoring the team’s roster to three quarterbacks. The move comes after White was previously with the team as an emergency third quarterback during a recent game in Green Bay. He was released on Saturday when defensive end Jared Harrison-Hunte was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.
White, who is 30 years old, has played in 15 NFL games and started seven times, all with the New York Jets. His professional career also includes stints with the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.
