The Carolina Panthers have updated their depth chart ahead of their Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers. The team made several changes on defense, with more adjustments possible later in the week.
Following the placement of outside linebacker Patrick Jones II on Injured Reserve two weeks ago, the Panthers signed edge rusher Trevis Gipson earlier Tuesday. Gipson is now listed behind Thomas Incoom on the depth chart. In a related move, defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy was released from the roster.
Other recent changes at outside linebacker remain unchanged, including rookie Princely Umanmielen being listed behind D.J. Wonnum.
Offensive lineman Brady Christensen suffered what head coach Dave Canales described as a “significant” Achilles injury during Sunday’s game. Despite this injury, Christensen remains on both the roster and the depth chart at right guard for now.
“Depth charts, like constitutions, are living, breathing documents,” said Canales.
