On Saturday, April 12, former Mallard Creek High School standout Sam Johnson’s current college team, the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops, won 12-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Methodist Monarchs.

The game took place at Bauer Field. This was their third matchup against the Monarchs this season.

The Battling Bishops’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Bauer Field against Methodist Monarchs.
