Senator Thom Tillis, a prominent figure in the political landscape, recently shared his views on various topics through a series of tweets. His statements addressed law enforcement officers, critiqued former FBI Director James Comey, and emphasized the importance of tax legislation.

On May 15, 2025, Senator Tillis expressed gratitude towards law enforcement officers and their families. He stated: “To every law enforcement officer: thank you for your service and unwavering courage. To the families who lost a loved one who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting their community: we owe you a debt of gratitude we can never repay.”

The following day, May 16, 2025, he criticized James Comey for comments directed at the President. Senator Tillis remarked: “It’s shameful James Comey posted that, directed at a President who survived two assassination attempts. You would think a former FBI Director would be the last person to fan the flames with that kind of trash.”

Later on May 16, Senator Tillis highlighted the necessity for Congress to pass significant tax legislation. He supported extending previous tax cuts initiated under former President Trump by stating: “.@POTUS is right. It’s critical Congress gets a big, beautiful tax bill passed. We must extend the Trump Tax Cuts. Failure is not an option.”
