He announced plans to reintroduce the Safe and Open Streets Act, emphasizing that “activists who resort to these reckless tactics are prosecuted by the federal government and held accountable.”

In a subsequent post dated June 12, 2025, Tillis highlighted the importance of legislative support for law enforcement. He urged Congress to pass his Protect and Serve Act, which aims to hold individuals accountable for violence against officers. On June 13, 2025, Senator Tillis addressed international concerns regarding Iran’s nuclear ambitions. He described Iran as a “terrorist state” intent on using nuclear weapons against Israel.
