Senator Thom Tillis recently shared his views on various topics through a series of tweets. The senator’s statements touch upon the appointment of Jeanine Pirro, political commentary regarding judicial figures, and gratitude towards law enforcement efforts.

On May 8, 2025, Senator Tillis expressed support for Jeanine Pirro’s nomination by President Biden to serve as U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C. “Jeanine Pirro has had a long and storied career as a prosecutor and she is a great choice by @POTUS to serve as U.S. Attorney for DC!” he stated in his tweet.

The following day, on May 9, 2025, Tillis commented on perceived partisanship within the judiciary. He remarked on the scrutiny faced by Justice Alito’s wife over her political views and emphasized that judges should remain nonpartisan. “This is incredibly rich after liberals spent all of last year freaking out about the political views of Justice Alito’s wife,” he tweeted, adding that it is not the role of judges like Justice Sotomayor to act as “partisan politicians in robes.”

On May 10, 2025, Senator Tillis expressed appreciation for law enforcement officials working to protect children from criminal activities. He extended thanks specifically to Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel along with others involved in these efforts. “Thank you @AGPamBondi, @FBIDirectorKash, and all the men and women of our nation’s law enforcement who are working day and night to apprehend criminals targeting innocent children,” he said.
