Senator Thom Tillis has been vocal on social media, sharing his perspectives on various political issues. In a series of tweets, Tillis addresses international relations, law enforcement support, and legislative action against environmental regulations.

On May 14, 2025, Senator Tillis commented on the changing dynamics in Middle Eastern diplomacy. He noted that “Many Middle East leaders wouldn’t even take a phone call from President Biden. This week, they are welcoming @POTUS Trump and America with open arms during his historic trip.” According to Tillis, this shift could have “long-term implications for regional peace and stability.”

Later that day, Tillis expressed support for law enforcement following a statement by the FBI Director Kash Patel. He stated: “Couldn’t agree more with @FBIDirectorKash. Good things can happen when you let good cops do their jobs.” He also affirmed his commitment to “#BackTheBlue” and support for the nation’s law enforcement personnel.

On May 15, 2025, Senator Tillis turned his attention to domestic policy concerning environmental regulations. He urged Congress to use the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to overturn a waiver by the Biden Administration. This waiver allows California politicians to ban gas-powered vehicles. He described it as an “insane Biden Administration waiver.”

Additional information provided indicates that Kash Patel was appointed as FBI Director by President Donald Trump earlier in the year.
