What happened to the median home price in Charlotte during the second quarter of 2019?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Charlotte fell by $70,750 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 28.2% decrease over the $250,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Charlotte in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for 2019 was $1,243. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,209. This marks an increase of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.7%.
