September 2021: Home prices in Charlotte increased

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2021 in Charlotte rose by $54,000 while total sales increased by 7.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2021, there were 1,815 homes sold, with a median sale price of $313,500 - a 20.8% increase over the $259,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,689 homes sold in Charlotte in September 2020.

The median sales tax in Charlotte for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,071, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for September 2021.
