City of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
This week, CMPD had the honor of hosting the ALERT International Conference at our Police Training Academy.
This conference helps give additional training to driving instructors from law enforcement agencies across the country and beyond. With over 100 attendees, instructors from as far as Washington, California and Canada made the trip to Charlotte this week.
We would not have been selected for this opportunity without our Police Training Academy space and access to the Charlotte Vehicle Operations Center. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this week a success!
