City of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
This year, marks 48 years of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Explorers Christmas Project!
Since 1974, the CMPD Explorers Project has collected and delivered toys to hundreds of families every year. Our 2022 toy drive is now underway! See our flyer to learn how you can help.
And, we ask that you join us for one of our upcoming toy drive collection events this week:
-Speedway Christmas – Thurs., December 8th from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
-Walmart (Huntersville) – Fri., December 9th from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
-Blakeney Shopping Center – Sun., December 11th from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Bring a new unwrapped toy for kids 14 and under!
