The Charlotte Hornets announced today that they will host their 2024 training camp at the Michael W. Krzyzewski Center, commonly known as "the K Center," on Duke University's campus in Durham, NC. The camp is scheduled to take place from October 1-4.
Jeff Peterson, President of Basketball Operations for the Hornets, confirmed the decision. "Full details, including practice times and media availabilities, will be provided at a later date," Peterson stated.
The K Center serves as the training facility for Duke University's men's and women's basketball teams. This marks the first time since 2019 that the Hornets have conducted their training camp outside of Charlotte. In 2019, the team held its camp at the University of North Carolina's Dean E. Smith Center.
Hornets guard Seth Curry and center Mark Williams will return to familiar grounds during this training camp. Both players previously played collegiate basketball for Duke University; Curry from 2009-13 and Williams from 2020-22.
