The Carolina Panthers and Lowe's have announced the top ten schools for this year's Carolina Panthers Spirit Rocks! competition. Schools across the Carolinas were invited to commemorate the 30th season celebration by creating a Carolina Panthers-themed design on their school rocks. The Carolina Panthers Kickoff Committee selected the top four designs, which were then subjected to a public vote from September 9-12.
The winning school, McKee Road Elementary, will be honored at the Carolina Panthers home opener on September 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers with a pre-game ceremony. During this event, they will receive grant funding of $2,500 from Panthers Charities towards their arts programs. The remaining top ten schools will also receive grant funding of $1,000 each for their respective programs.
"Thank you to all of the schools who participated in this year's Carolina Panthers Spirit Rocks! Competition presented by Lowe's," said a spokesperson for the event.

- Druid Hills Academy
- Independence High School
- Endy Elementary School

- Antioch Elementary School
- East Lincoln Middle School
