Panthers miss key players against Bengals due to injuries

The Carolina Panthers faced the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday without two of their starters due to injuries. Nose tackle Shy Tuttle and left guard Damien Lewis were ruled out on Friday, along with special teamer Lonnie Johnson.

Additionally, cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields, running back Mike Boone, outside linebacker Tarron Jackson, and guard Jarrett Kingston were inactive for the game.

Starting right guard Robert Hunt and wide receiver Diontae Johnson, who were listed as questionable in the final injury report, are active and expected to play.

Chandler Zavala will start at left guard in place of Lewis, while Nick Thurman will fill Tuttle's position. Despite waking up with shoulder soreness on Sunday, outside linebacker Charles Harris is active and expected to participate in the game.

The Panthers also activated defensive end DeShawn Williams and outside linebacker Thomas Incoom from the practice squad for Week 4.
