Hornets unveil roster for 2024-25 NBA season

The Charlotte Hornets have officially revealed their roster for the 2024-25 NBA season, as announced by Jeff Peterson, President of Basketball Operations. The team will begin the season with a lineup consisting of 18 players.

Key players on the roster include LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges, both entering their fourth and fifth years in the league respectively. Other notable names are Grant Williams from Tennessee and Nick Richards from Kentucky. Newcomers to the team include Nick Smith Jr. from Arkansas and Brandon Miller from Alabama.

In addition to these players, two-way contract athletes Moussa Diabate and KJ Simpson have been added to the lineup. Veteran player Taj Gibson, with 15 years of professional experience, also joins the squad.

The coaching staff is led by Head Coach Charles Lee from Bucknell. He is supported by assistant coaches including Lamar Skeeter, Josh Longstaff, Chris Jent, Blaine Mueller, Ryan Frazier, Matt Hill, Jermaine Bucknor, and Zach Peterson.

The team's health and performance management is overseen by Dr. Trent Salo as Vice President of Player Health & Performance. Dr. Matthew Tuttle serves as Director of Sports Medicine while Bryce Daub takes on the role of Director of Athletic Performance.

Other key staff members include Head Athletic Trainer Dr. Quinton Sawyer and Associate Head Athletic Trainer Pete Elliott. They are joined by experts such as Dr. Rachel Webb in performance psychology and wellness, Anthony Barry as Head Athletic Performance Coach, Dr. Harrison Herman handling rehabilitation duties alongside his assistant athletic trainer role, dietitian Dr. Oluremi Famodu-Jackson, physical therapist Dr. Cassidy Papa, applied sports scientist Dr. Kate Weiss, and senior performance & development scientist Dr. Harjiv Singh.
