The 2024 NBA Playoffs have moved past the first round, with predictions from two experts being closely watched. Sam Perley has taken an early lead over Sam Farber in their playoff predictions, standing at 6-2 compared to Farber's 4-4. Both experts correctly predicted series wins for Boston, New York, Oklahoma City, and Denver. However, only Perley foresaw Indiana's upset against Milwaukee and Dallas' victory over the Clippers.

Neither expert anticipated victories by Cleveland or Minnesota, leaving open questions about whether these teams will continue their success into the next rounds. As the playoffs progress into Round 2, matchups are set as follows:

In the Eastern Conference:

- Boston faces Cleveland

- New York takes on Indiana

In the Western Conference:

- Oklahoma City meets Dallas Mavericks

- Denver competes against Minnesota

Despite the Charlotte Hornets not participating in this year's playoffs, attention remains high on who will claim the title of 2024 NBA Champions. The predictions from hornets.com Lead Writer Sam Perley and Voice of the Charlotte Hornets Sam Farber will be followed closely throughout each round to see whose insights prove accurate.

The initial round saw these matchups:

Eastern Conference:

- Boston vs. Miami

- New York vs. Philadelphia

- Milwaukee vs. Indiana

- Cleveland vs. Orlando

Western Conference:

- Oklahoma City vs. New Orleans

- Denver vs. Los Angeles Lakers

- Minnesota vs. Phoenix

- LA Clippers vs. Dallas
