The NBA has announced that Brandon Miller has been named to the All-Rookie First Team. He joins Chet Holmgren, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Brandin Podziemski, and Victor Wembanyama in receiving this honor. Miller is recognized as a three-time Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month and becomes the sixth player from the Hornets franchise to earn an All-Rookie First Team selection. Previous Hornets who have received this accolade include LaMelo Ball, Kendall Gill, Larry Johnson, Alonzo Mourning, and Emeka Okafor.

Miller shares a unique distinction with Ball, Raymond Felton, Johnson, and Okafor as one of only five players in Hornets history to win three Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month awards. Notably, he is also one of just three Hornets players to secure this award for three consecutive months alongside Ball and Felton. His performance earned him a spot in the Rising Stars event during All-Star weekend held in Indianapolis.

This season, Miller made significant contributions by averaging 2.5 3-pointers per game and achieving a total of 184 3-pointers—ranking third and fourth respectively among rookies in NBA history for these statistics. Additionally, he was one of only three rookies to rank within the top ten among first-year players across multiple categories: points per game (PPG), rebounds per game (RPG), assists per game (APG), steals per game (SPG), and blocks per game (BPG). The other two rookies sharing this achievement are Amen Thompson and Victor Wembanyama.

Drafted second overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, Miller completed his season with averages of 17.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists over 74 games played—starting in 68 of those contests.
