The Charlotte Hornets' recent game against the Milwaukee Bucks highlighted the potential of their young stars, LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller. Despite a 125-119 loss, Ball and Miller combined for an impressive 82 points. Ball achieved a career-high with 50 points, while Miller added 32 points and secured a career-high 11 rebounds.

Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard both contributed significantly to their team's victory, scoring 32 and 31 points respectively. Gary Trent Jr. also played a key role off the bench with 16 points.

The game saw several turning points. After being tied at the end of the first quarter, Charlotte struggled in the second quarter, allowing Milwaukee to take an eight-point lead by halftime. However, Ball's performance in the third quarter helped narrow the gap. The Bucks then launched a decisive run that seemed to secure their win until a late surge from Ball and Miller brought Charlotte back within two points before time ran out.

Charlotte managed to keep turnovers low with only ten in this game but struggled offensively without key players like Mark Williams and Nick Richards. The absence of these players affected their paint presence and overall defensive capabilities.

Milwaukee's bench proved crucial in securing their win, outscoring Charlotte's reserves significantly. AJ Green, Gary Trent Jr., and Bobby Portis Jr. had notable plus-minus ratings, highlighting their impact on the game.

Brandon Miller praised LaMelo Ball postgame: “That’s just him (Ball) leading the team as always... He’s just competing at the highest level that he can.”

Looking ahead, the Hornets will begin a five-game homestand against Orlando Magic on November 25th.
