U.S. Senator Thom Tillis expressed his support for Pam Bondi's confirmation as the next United States Attorney General. In a statement following her Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Tillis highlighted Bondi's career achievements and experience.

"Pam Bondi will be an outstanding Attorney General that will apply the law without bias," said Tillis. He emphasized her past role as Florida's Attorney General, where she received bipartisan support and led efforts against drug cartels and organized crime. "She has proven she has the experience and vision necessary to serve as the nation’s top law enforcement officer," he added.

Tillis also addressed criticisms directed at Bondi during her confirmation process, drawing parallels with Kash Patel, another nominee he supports. He defended both nominees' integrity and commitment to their roles.

"You have answered the question repeatedly that you will be loyal to the Constitution," Tillis stated in response to attacks on Bondi's character.

The senator also touched upon election integrity issues, advocating for voter ID laws to prevent electoral fraud. "We want to make elections easy to vote and hard to cheat," he remarked while acknowledging existing irregularities in elections.

Tillis clarified his stance on President Biden's legitimacy, affirming him as the current president of the United States.
