Today, Senator Thom Tillis expressed his support for Pam Bondi's nomination as Attorney General. As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Tillis voted to advance Bondi's nomination from the committee to the Senate floor.
Tillis stated, "I am proud to support Pam Bondi’s nomination, and I have no doubt she will be an exceptional Attorney General who will uphold the law fairly and without bias." He praised her career as a prosecutor and her efforts in Florida as Attorney General, highlighting her work against drug cartels and organized crime.
Bondi's experience and advocacy on issues such as the opioid crisis were noted by Tillis. He remarked on her bipartisan support in Florida and expressed confidence in her qualifications for the role of Attorney General.
