As the Reese's Senior Bowl concluded in Mobile, Alabama, last week, NFL teams began focusing on potential draft picks. Over 100 top college football prospects showcased their skills, providing coaches and scouts with a chance to evaluate future players.

The Carolina Panthers were among the teams present, aiming to find talent for their No. 8 overall pick or one of their eight selections in the first five rounds. Five players stood out during the event.

Mike Green from Marshall impressed during one-on-one drills against offensive linemen. At 6-4 and 248 pounds, Green had an outstanding 2024 season with 81 tackles and 17 sacks. His performance at the Senior Bowl made him a player to watch as the draft process continues.

Walter Nolen from Ole Miss was another standout. The defensive tackle, standing at 6-3 and weighing 293 pounds, had a strong presence on the field. Despite needing some technique refinement, Nolen showed potential as a valuable investment for teams seeking depth.

Shemar Stewart from Texas A&M caught attention despite modest college statistics. At 6-6 and weighing 290 pounds, Stewart displayed speed and power in pass-rush drills. Pro Football Focus noted his minimal negative plays during these sessions.

Jayden Higgins from Iowa State used his height advantage effectively in one-on-one drills. He excelled by catching all three catchable balls during these drills and scoring a touchdown in the all-star game.

Jack Bech from TCU emerged as both MVP of the week and Saturday's game. He demonstrated exceptional skill by catching six of seven balls in one-on-one drills and making crucial catches during team exercises. Bech also scored a game-winning touchdown while honoring his brother Tiger, who died in a recent terror attack.
