The Carolina Panthers are focusing on maintaining their offensive unit while addressing defensive needs through free agency. Tight end Tommy Tremble has re-signed with the team, continuing his journey with the franchise that drafted him in 2021. His close friend and teammate, Chuba Hubbard, was present to support him during the signing.

"I had to come see my boy," Hubbard remarked as he captured the moment on his phone. Tremble expressed relief at staying with the Panthers, joking about switching positions if necessary: "No, man, I told him I'd switch to linebacker and knock him out."

Despite changes on defense, including releasing Miles Sanders, the Panthers' offense remains largely intact. Reflecting on a strong finish to last season under coach Dave Canales, Tremble noted: "Everyone was doing their thing... we're really excited for it."

The team's offense averaged 24.3 points per game in the final eight weeks of 2024. Maintaining this momentum into the new season is crucial. Tremble emphasized trust in Coach Canales's system: "I think it's continuously trusting what coach is building with this team and knowing that it works."

Offensive lineman Austin Corbett also re-signed with Carolina after exploring free agency options. He highlighted his desire to contribute to a growing franchise: "I wanted to take my knowledge... and be able to bring it to a franchise that needed that growth."

The offensive line's stability played a significant role in reducing sacks from previous seasons and provided quarterback Bryce Young with consistency. Corbett stated his commitment: "I definitely wanted to stay and make sure... I want to be a part of this turn or make it happen."

Both Tremble and Corbett have personal reasons for returning; Tremble is expecting a child soon and values continuity for his family, while Corbett appreciates having control over his career path at age 30.

Coach Dave Canales praised Tremble's performance: "You know, we're going through all of our film, and he does such a great job." As both players look forward to contributing further next season, they aim to help build upon last year's progress.

Tremble concluded by highlighting the potential within their ranks: "I think it shows how special the offense can be."
