Cisco has entered into a multi-year partnership with Tepper Sports & Entertainment, adding the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC to its roster of sports organizations using Cisco’s networking and cybersecurity solutions. The agreement covers team facilities and operations at Bank of America Stadium, Atrium Health Performance Park, and other locations.

Cisco’s AI-ready infrastructure and strong security solutions empower the Panthers and Charlotte FC to deliver a secure, high-performance environment that supports both team activities and fan engagement at Bank of America Stadium.”

Under this partnership, Cisco will supply technology intended to enhance fan experiences and protect operations for both teams. The technology package includes high-density Wi-Fi 7 Access Points for scalable connectivity, Cisco Secure Firewall for cybersecurity needs, and IP Fabric for Media to support delivery of 4K video content within Bank of America Stadium as well as through broadcasts.

Cisco has previously collaborated with the NFL on developing networking and cybersecurity strategies for major events such as the Super Bowl, NFL International Series, and NFL Draft. Every NFL stadium’s replay control room is built on Cisco technology which connects back to Art McNally Gameday Central in New York via a Cisco network. More than two-thirds of NFL stadiums use Cisco technology.
