Through his Twitter account, Tillis has communicated advocacy for funding, remarked on presidential leadership, and expressed condolence.

On April 28, 2025, Senator Thom Tillis expressed gratitude to the President of the United States and Secretary Turner for providing $1.4 billion in aid to Western North Carolina. “Thank you @POTUS and @SecretaryTurner for awarding $1.4 billion in aid to WNC. I was proud to advocate for these funds and will work to ensure they are disbursed quickly to bolster Helene recovery efforts.”
