Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
CMS has launched a new hiring and retention incentives for four critical shortage areas: bus drivers; exceptional children (EC) teachers; heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) skilled tradespeople; and instructional substitutes.
