Atrium Health issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Most of us hope we will always be independent, healthy and in control of our own lives. But a sudden accident or serious illness can take away the freedom to make personal decisions.
When that happens, our loved ones are asked to make medical choices for us. Take control of your future health care by having an advance directive.
At this workshop, trained facilitators will provide information about advance care planning and will walk you through the Health Care Power of Attorney and Living Will documents.
You will have the opportunity to have all your questions answered and learn what steps you need to take next.
