CHARLOTTE—The Panthers have added another wide receiver before training camp, signing Daewood Davis after a recent workout. Davis, standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 195 pounds, was named to the All-UFL team this spring following his performance with the Memphis Showboats. In 10 games, he recorded 41 receptions for 446 yards and five touchdowns.

Last year, Davis was in camp with the Dolphins but was waived-injured after suffering a helmet-to-helmet hit during the preseason. He played college football at Oregon and Western Kentucky. With this addition, the Panthers' roster now stands at the 90-player limit as they head into training camp in late July.
