This September, Fire Dept. Coffee is featuring Charlotte Fire in their Fire Dept. Club. As the seasons change, coffee enthusiasts and community supporters have an opportunity to support firefighters through this initiative.

Fire Dept. Coffee, a veteran-owned company from Rockford, Illinois, was founded in 2016 by retired firefighter/paramedic and U.S. Navy veteran Luke Schneider. The company aims to provide high-quality coffee while supporting sick and injured firefighters through its charitable foundation.

This month, Charlotte’s firefighters are highlighted. The city of Charlotte welcomed Fire Dept. Coffee’s creative team, led by Chief Creative Officer Brad Flaherty, for photo shoots and promotional videos.

Flaherty stated: “Charlotte is a great town full of people who are always buzzing with energy. We wanted to give back to a community that has given so much. Plus, there’s a real need here — whether it's mental health awareness, supporting firefighters battling cancer, or helping those injured on the job.”

The September launch includes exclusive Charlotte Fire-themed merchandise with proceeds supporting local firefighters and other charitable efforts.

Flaherty emphasized the importance of authenticity: “We’re not just saying we’re firefighters or run by firefighters,” he said. “We actually work with real firefighters — the real community heroes who are out there doing the job day in and day out.”

Supporters can purchase from the Fire Dept. Coffee collection to aid Charlotte's bravest in maintaining their strength and readiness.

This September let’s raise our mugs to Charlotte Fire and acknowledge how a good cup of coffee can unite communities.
