The Carolina Panthers, currently holding a 1-6 record, are set to face the Denver Broncos, who stand at 4-3, in an upcoming match in Denver. Historically, the Panthers have struggled against the Broncos with a 2-6 all-time record. Their past encounters include two wins at home and three losses on the road, one of which was during Super Bowl 50.

The Broncos had a rocky start this season with two initial losses but have since found their footing after a significant win against Tampa Bay. The team is led by rookie quarterback Bo Nix, who was selected as the No. 12 overall pick in April's draft. Nix has shown resilience on the field with impressive stats: completing 137 out of 244 passes for 1,246 yards and scoring five touchdowns against five interceptions over seven games.

Nix has demonstrated notable escapability skills, maintaining a low sack rate of 3.5 percent while being sacked only nine times this season. His agility contributes to his status as the team's second-leading rusher with 255 yards on 47 carries and three rushing touchdowns.

On defense, Patrick Surtain II stands out as a key player for Denver. Despite missing recent games due to concussion protocol following an injury during Week 7's Thursday night game, Surtain remains influential when active. He boasts two interceptions this season and holds one of the lowest EPA per target among cornerbacks.

Denver's offensive strategy includes spreading receptions across multiple players rather than relying on one or two key individuals. Courtland Sutton leads their receiving corps with significant contributions over several seasons, including this year’s tally of 21 receptions for 277 yards and two touchdowns.

Josh Reynolds follows closely behind Sutton with noteworthy averages per catch and consistent performance alongside other receivers like Lil'Jordan Humphrey contributing to Denver’s diverse offense.
