Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton was absent from practice on Thursday for the second consecutive day due to a right thumb injury sustained in a car accident. Dalton is among seven players who did not participate as the team prepares to face the Broncos. The list includes cornerback Dane Jackson (hamstring), wide receiver Diontae Johnson (rib), safety Jammie Robinson (knee), safety Nick Scott (hamstring), outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum (quadriceps), and kicker Eddy Piñeiro, who was out for personal reasons.

Defensive end A'Shawn Robinson returned as a limited participant after missing Wednesday's session due to a knee issue. Safety Sam Franklin Jr., dealing with personal matters and a foot concern, fully participated after being absent on Wednesday.

Other players listed as limited participants include running back Jonathon Brooks (knee), linebacker Claudin Cherelus (hamstring), safety Jordan Fuller (hamstring), linebacker Josey Jewell (hamstring/groin), right tackle Taylor Moton (elbow), tackle Yosh Nijman (knee), tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (groin/wrist), wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring), and tight end Tommy Tremble (back).

Outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney participated fully for the second day in a row despite a shoulder issue. Running back Raheem Blackshear, defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy, and linebacker Jon Rhattigan were also full participants, overcoming shoulder, ankle, and knee issues respectively.
