Quarterback Andy Dalton returned to practice on Wednesday, marking a full participation after being absent from last week's game against the Broncos due to a right thumb issue. Dalton had not practiced at all last week and was listed as inactive for the game.

In contrast, eight players were sidelined during Wednesday's practice session. Left tackle Ikem Ekwonu (ankle), tight end Feleipe Franks (concussion), outside linebacker DJ Johnson (ankle), safety Jammie Robinson (knee), and tight end Tommy Tremble (back) missed practice due to injuries. Additionally, three players—outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, linebacker Josey Jewell, and defensive end A'Shawn Robinson—were given rest days.

Wide receiver Adam Thielen was limited in practice with a hamstring issue. However, running back Jonathon Brooks (knee), defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy (ankle), safety Jordan Fuller (hamstring), tackle Yosh Nijman (knee), and outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum (quadriceps) were able to participate fully.

For further details on player statuses and team lineup adjustments, refer to the full injury report available online.
