The Carolina Panthers have opted to delay the debut of rookie running back Jonathon Brooks, as he continues his recovery from an ACL tear sustained last year. Brooks is among the seven players listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the New York Giants in Munich, Germany.

Brooks has been practicing for the past three weeks and has shown promising progress. However, the team has decided to hold him back until after their bye week to ensure full recovery. Joining Brooks on the inactive list are Ikem Ekwonu, Jammie Robinson, Shemar Bartholomew, Charles Harris, Tommy Tremble, and Jaden Crumedy.

Jammie Robinson returned to the United States earlier on Sunday due to a personal matter. Meanwhile, outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum and safety Jordan Fuller were activated on Saturday. Wonnum will be making his season debut during this game. Additionally, cornerback Caleb Farley and wide receiver Deven Thompkins have been promoted from the practice squad to provide additional depth.

For the Giants, their inactives include wide receivers Darius Slayton and Bryce Ford-Wheaton, safety Jason Pinnock, linebacker Darius Muasau, defensive lineman Jordon Riley, offensive lineman Jake Kubas, and quarterback Tommy DeVito as a third QB option.
