Panthers face Chiefs with key players sidelined or uncertain

Running back Miles Sanders will not play in this week's game against the Chiefs due to an ankle injury. The Panthers have several key players listed as questionable.

Kicker Eddy Piñeiro, dealing with a left knee issue, did not participate in Friday's practice after being limited the previous day. Rookie wide receiver Jalen Coker, suffering from a quadriceps injury, was also held out on Friday and is listed as questionable.

Other players who participated in practice at least on a limited basis include wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring), outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee), outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum (quadriceps), outside linebacker DJ Johnson (concussion), defensive end LaBryan Ray (hand), and running back Jonathon Brooks (knee). Outside linebacker Amaré Barno, who is in his first week of a three-week window to practice, is listed as doubtful due to a knee injury.
