The Carolina Panthers will see changes in their lineup for the upcoming game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Rookie wide receiver Jalen Coker will not play due to a quadriceps injury sustained during practice on Thursday. However, veteran Adam Thielen is set to return after being sidelined since Week 3 with a hamstring injury incurred while catching a long touchdown pass from Andy Dalton.
The list of inactive players for the Panthers also includes Jammie Robinson, Shemar Bartholomew, Thomas Incoom, DJ Johnson, Jarrett Kingston, and Jaden Crumedy. DJ Johnson had suffered a concussion in Germany but was able to participate in practice this week.
To bolster their roster, the Panthers have promoted wide receiver Dan Chisena and outside linebacker Kenny Dyson from the practice squad.
For the Kansas City Chiefs, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is among those who will not be playing. The Chiefs' inactive list also features C.J. Hanson, Ethan Driskell, Marlon Tuipulotu, and Cameron Thomas.
