The Carolina Panthers are dealing with a series of injuries that have impacted their roster. On Sunday, rookie running back Jonathon Brooks suffered a torn ACL in his right knee, the same injury he previously endured. "My heart is with him," stated coach Dave Canales, acknowledging the hard work Brooks put into returning to play. Despite playing only three games this season, Brooks has gained respect from his teammates for his dedication.

Offensive lineman Robert Hunt expressed sympathy for Brooks: "It was sad to see... It's sad, man, for a kid to put that much work in." Running back Chuba Hubbard, who has formed a close bond with Brooks, commented on the situation: "JB is my guy... He'll be back greater than ever."

The team's running back unit also lost Raheem Blackshear due to a chest injury during the game. He was taken to a hospital as a precaution. Coach Canales mentioned plans to elevate Mike Boone from the practice squad and explore other options on the open market. Boone shared his readiness: "I've been elevating my game behind the scenes too."

In addition to these setbacks, cornerback Jaycee Horn left Sunday's game with a groin injury and is considered day-to-day. Rookie receiver Jalen Coker continues to recover from a quad injury but is progressing.

Coach Canales remains hopeful about Horn's condition: "It's checked out pretty good for what we hoped coming out of the game." The team will monitor these situations closely as they prepare for upcoming games.
