Crown Legacy FC has announced the acquisition of midfielder Baye Coulibaly from Croatian club NK Kustosija. The transfer is subject to a medical examination and visa approval.

Coulibaly, 18, gained recognition at the 2023 U-17 World Cup, where he played a significant role in Mali's third-place finish. Assistant General Manager Bobby Belair commented on the signing: “Baye is an exceptional young talent whose versatility and skill have already earned him recognition on the international stage." He added that Coulibaly's performance and interest from top-tier clubs highlight his potential. "Acquiring Baye is a testament to our player pathway and speaks to our dedication to develop the next generation of talent for Charlotte FC," Belair stated.

In 2023, Coulibaly earned nine caps with Mali's U-17 national team. Following this, NK Kustosija signed him as their youngest squad member for the 2024-25 season, during which he made 12 appearances, including ten starts and contributed two goals.
