The MLS SuperDraft 2025 commenced on Friday, December 20 at 2 pm ET. Fans and teams followed the event closely on mlssoccer.com as collegiate players and prospects sought to join Major League Soccer. The following year saw them choose Hamady Diop from Clemson as their top pick along with Patrick Agyemang from Rhode Island later in the first round. They also picked Nick Scardina from Washington and Andrew Privett from Penn State.

In last year's draft, Charlotte FC selected Tyger Smalls from Loyola Marymount with their first-round pick. Other selections included Jahlane Forbes from Wake Forest and Jacob Babalai from Portland in the second round, along with Nathan Richmond from Clemson in the third round.
